Deputy Managing Director (System Operation)
Consistent with the objectives of the government to reform the power sector, the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) and the Board of Directors
of NTDC have initiated action plans to transform NTDC into a dynamic corporate entity to meet with the emerging challenges in the power
sector in the country. These include modernization and improvement of system reliability, asset management, automation, system operation,
and establishment of the Competitive Trading Bilateral Contract Market (CTBCM).
The position of Deputy Managing Director (System Operation) will be responsible for leading the system operation transformation within NTDC
and will be expected to lead on behalf of NTDC the establishment and operationalization of CTBCM. The position is based in Islamabad,
Pakistan, and will directly report to NTDC's Managing Director. The incumbent will work closely with the Board of Directors of NTDC to ensure
the implementation and monitoring of assigned objectives.
